The machine consists of an electrical wagon, motor base, axle box, centrifugal head, cooling water system, oil mist lubricating system, and wind circulating system.
During operation, molten lava flows onto the centrifuge through a movable inclined flow channel and undergoes fiberization under the combined influence of high-speed centrifugal force and an air stream. Simultaneously, phenolic resin and dust-absorbing oil are sprayed onto the fibers, which are then blown into the wool collecting chamber after separation, effectively removing dust.
Due to the critical nature of production, two units of centrifuges are employed—one operational while the other serves as a backup. The rollers of the centrifuge are cooled using a cooling water system, and the bearings are lubricated with specialized lubricating oil.
