Dental Lab VeraBond Nicr Nickel Chromium with Beryllium Dental VB Metal Porcelain Alloy
This is a high-quality non-noble metal alloy used to make PFM (porcelain-fused-to-metal) crown and bridge. It has been a
trustworthy alloy universally accepted by the whole world for 15 years.
High resistance to corrosion;
Biological compatibility assessed and certified by inspection organization;
Stable physical properties;
Strong bonding force between me[x]tal and porcelain;
Low expansion coefficient, stable, safe and reliable;
Bubbles and cracks in porcelain are greatly reduced through manufacturing in high vacuum environment;
Instructions for Use:
Wax Pattern
The thickness of the wax pattern shall be at least 0.4 mm and the thickness of the casting after sanding and sand blast shall be
at least 0.3 mm. In case of dental crown or long bridge that contains high percentage of me[x]tal, a me[x]tal reservoir can be
installed after proof by experiment.
em[x]bedment
Compatibility is available to the market generally accepted phosphate Ni-Cr porcelain em[x]bedment. Application shall be put under
strict control according to the instructions provided by the em[x]bedding material manufacturers.
Casting
This alloy can be cast with flame or through HF process. Porcelain crucible is selected. Do not overheat during fusion. It’s
better not to wait till the film is broken so as to avoid shrinkage cavities, bubbles, etc. It is suggested that only new me[x]tal
be used to keep accuracy and nice outlook of the casting. For recycled application, only 50% of used me[x]tal can be added.
After the cast ring is opened
To cut off the sprue according to the standard, sand the casting and then carry out sand blast;
Cleaning and Oxidation
Clean the sand blasted casting with ultrasonic wave or steam and then carry out oxidation to the casting in the porcelain furnace
in complete vacuum at 980℃. Time of holding is nor necessary for single crown and small bridge. If the bridge is too long, please
