1、 PET plastic properties 1. PET plastic has good heat resistance and can be used at 120 ℃ for a long time; It can maintain its
excellent physical and mechanical properties in a wide temperature range. 2. Low water absorption, non-toxic, good weather
resistance and chemical stability, resistant to weak acids and organic solvents, but not resistant to hot water immersion and
alkali. 3. PET plastic polyethylene terephthalate is a milky white or light yellow, highly crystalline polymer with smooth and
shiny surface. Its relative density is 1.4, and the biaxial tensile film has high strength and transparency. Its melting point is
265 ℃ and its glass transition temperature is 80 ℃. 4. The strength and toughness are the crowns of thermoplastics, and the
strength after heat treatment is significantly improved. The tensile strength after heat treatment and extension can be equivalent
to that of aluminum film. It has good creep resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance and dimensional stability, low
wear and high hardness. Its electrical performance is excellent, and is less affected by temperature, but its corona resistance is
poor. 5. The crystallization rate of PET plastic is very small, so the molding processability is poor. Because of the rapid
crystallization, if the product (film) is transparent, it must be cooled quickly. Polyethylene terephthalate must be fully dried
before molding, and can be dried in vacuum or boiling at 135 ℃ for 5h. Otherwise, the product quality will be affected, which is
more important for the cast film. Because of its slow crystallization rate and difficult processing, nucleating agent needs to be
added. 6. The polyester resin with a viscosity of about 0.6 has a good film-forming property, which can be formed by biaxial
stretching after casting or extrusion. Polyester resin with high viscosity (intrinsic viscosity above 1.0) (melting point about
245 ℃) can be extruded, injected, blown, molded, coated, bonded, machined, plated, vacuum coated, and printed. The injection
conditions of polyester resin are: injection temperature 290~315 ℃, injection pressure 7.0~14.0MPa. If 30% glass fiber reinforced
plastic is added, the injection temperature is 295~310 ℃. The injection pressure is 35~70MPa. 3、 PET plastic application 1. PET
plastic polyethylene terephthalate is mainly used for fiber, and a small amount is used for film and engineering plastics. PET
fiber is mainly used in textile industry. PET plastic film is mainly used for electrical insulation materials, such as capacitor,
cable insulation, printed circuit wiring substrate, motor slot insulation, etc. 2. Another application field of PET film is film
base and baseband, such as film, X-ray film, audio tape, video tape, and computer tape. It is also used in food, medicine, oil,
