Insert bearing,which belongs to seal deep groove ball bearing, usually comes with pillow block housing or mounted housing, and the combination is called pillow block bearing or bearing unit. The insert ball bearing also mainly withstand radial load and approximate axial load.
The housing equipped with insert bearings are usually made of gray cast iron, ductile cast iron, stainless steel and plastic. All depends on the application environment the insert bearing or the pillow block unit will be used.
