LCP-Liquid Crystal Polyester, English name: Liquid Crystal Polyester, referred to as LCP. The polymerization method is mainly melt polycondensation, and all-aromatic LCP is often supplemented with solid phase polycondensation to obtain high molecular weight products.
LCP has good weather resistance and radiation resistance, excellent flame retardancy, and can extinguish the flame without continuing to burn. Its combustion level reaches UL94V-0 level. LCP is one of the special plastics with the best fire safety. When the continuous use temperature is 200-300℃, its electrical properties are not affected. The intermittent use temperature can reach about 316℃.

LCP has an unusually regular fibrous structure in the liquid crystal state because its macromolecular chain is oriented, special performance, and the product strength is very high, not inferior to metal and ceramics. Good high temperature performance (heat deformation temperature is 121~355℃) has high strength and high modulus mechanical properties. LCP has outstanding corrosion resistance. LCP products will not be corroded in the presence of 90% acid and 50% alkali. It will not be dissolved or cause stress cracking after contact with industrial solvents, fuel oil, detergents and hot water.
