TVS (TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SUPPRESSOR) technology can extend the RS-485 communication distance to 1.2 kilometers. It is driven by "RS-232 charge pump". It does not need to initialize the RS-232 serial port to get the power. It has a zero-delay automatic internally.
