The piston rod is the main part that connects the power end and the hydraulic end of the mud pump. The piston rod is forged from alloy steel. After heat treatment, the product has high strength. The surface treatment includes blackening, galvanizing, nickel plating or decorative chrome plating to meet the different requirements of customers. The large end of the piston rod is connected to the power end of the mud pump through a clamp to transmit power; the small end is equipped with a piston, which makes reciprocating linear motion in the cylinder sleeve to generate pressure.
The piston assembly is the main part of the hydraulic end of the mud pump. The discharge pressure of the mud pump is generated by the reciprocating linear motion of the piston assembly in the cylinder sleeve. The large end of the piston tie rod is connected to the power end of the mud pump through a clamp to transmit power; the small end is installed with a piston, which makes reciprocating linear motion in the cylinder sleeve to generate pressure.
Small piston - high pressure, small flow; large piston - low pressure, large flow. Our company can produce various specifications of piston rods (metric and imperial) for F series and 3NB series drilling pumps, made of 42CrMo.
