What is Vacuum Insulated Glass ?
Vacuum glass is a new type of energy-saving glass developed based on the principle of thermos bottles. Two pieces of glass are separated by a 0.15mm high small support matrix, and the surrounding area is sealed with low melting point glass material. After being "vented" through a glass exhaust pipe, it is sealed to form a vacuum layer with a pressure below 0.1Pa. In order to achieve better insulation performance, one piece of glass is Low-e glass. Due to the almost non-existent gas conduction and convection heat transfer in the vacuum layer, high-performance low-e glass reduces radiation heat transfer, thus making the vacuum glass have super insulation performance.
