Eddy current separators
SorTek SES/ SECS/DSES
We provide the mechanical recovery of non-ferrous metals and throughput is the economic basis of metal recycling. The SorTek Eddy Current Separator with Eccentric Pole System provides maximum adjustability for increased recovery. The eddy current separator can be used wherever non-ferrous metals have to be recovered or separated. The eddy current separator with concentric pole system is also provided to be used on the material containing less magnetic dust flow and with fine fractions. The machine is free maintenance and with high efficiency. To maximize the recovery, a two-stage eddy current separator is available. Thanks to the practical research and design developments from the design team.

Technology
An eddy current separator basically consists of a short conveyor with a rapidly rotating system of permanent magnets incorporated in the head drum. The magnets generate strong eddy currents in the non-ferrous metal parts ejecting them from the rest of the material flow.
