Since our founding in 1954, Sasaki Foods Co., Ltd. has grown and developed with the aspiration to be a foods manufacturer capable of accommodating people’s dietary habits that grow more diverse and varied with the times. We use organic farming techniques to cultivate vegetables as well as plants with functional characteristics. One organic farming method to enrich soil is to increase the carbon content of soil. Plants absorb CO2 from the atmosphere through photosynthesis, and when those plants die, the carbon is converted into organic material by organisms and bacteria in the soil.
We initially started using organic farming techniques for safety and reliability purposes, but we now engage with them as a solution for environmental issues.
We want to let people know that we harness the power of plants not only to provide support for health, medical treatment, and nursing care, but also to engage seriously with environmental issues.
Our business activities are focused on two main areas.
1) Sales of raw ingredients
We provide valuable raw ingredients and materials such as barley grass, kale, and matcha powder which we produce in-house, from cultivation to processing.
2) OEM production
We propose finished products made from our barley grass, kale, and matcha raw ingredients. We can perfect original recipes and forms, etc., tailored to our customers’ requests.
