Introduction to Basalt
Basalt is an aphanitic eruption of Igneous rock iron exposed to or very close to the surface of rocky planets or moons.It has many pores and a hard texture, which can be mixed with concrete to reduce its weight. It is not only sturdy and durable, but also has characteristics such as sound insulation and heat insulation, making it a good aggregate for lightweight concrete in high-rise buildings. Basalt is also the best material for repairing roads, railways, and airport runways. It has advantages such as strong compressive strength, low crushing value, and strong corrosion resistance, and is internationally recognized as the best cornerstone for the development of railway and road transportation.
Basalt crushing process flow
Firstly, large pieces of basalt are transported to a jaw crusher through a vibrating feeder for coarse crushing; Secondly, the roughly crushed basalt material is then transported by a belt conveyor to a cone crusher for medium to fine crushing. At this time, a vibrating screen is also used for screening, and the substandard material is returned to the cone crusher for further crushing. Finally, the basalt particles that meet the requirements will be sent to the sand making machine for further crushing and shaping processing. The final finished material will be screened and packaged through a vibrating screen, and materials that do not meet the standards will need to be returned to the sand making machine for further fine crushing and shaping processing. If the finished product requires clean basalt stones, they also need to be sent to a sand washing machine for cleaning.

Project Site & Background
After understanding the customer's requirements and conducting on-site investigations, three stages of crushing are recommended for the customer. The first stage is roughly crushed by the jaw crusher, and the coarse crushed material enters the transfer silo. The feeder separates it into 0-50mm and larger materials, and 0-50mm directly enters the 2YKZ2470 vibrating screen; The second stage involves crushing materials larger than 50mm into a conical crusher, and then entering a vibrating screen to divide them into 6.25mm, 9.37mm, 18.75mm, and 37.5mm materials. Materials larger than 37.5mm enter the second conical crusher for the third stage of crushing, and materials between 0-6.25mm enter the sand washing machine to produce finished materials.
