Application scope

Standard materials

Rubber material:

- Generally, fluororubber (FKM) or nitrile rubber (NBR) is used. Fluororubber has excellent high-temperature resistance, oil resistance, and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for the high-temperature and high-pressure working environment of engines; nitrile rubber has good oil resistance and wear resistance. The cost is relatively low and it is also widely used in some ordinary working conditions.

2. High-temperature resistance:

- The excavator engine will generate a lot of heat during operation. The oil seal needs to be able to withstand high temperatures without being damaged. Usually, it can work normally in the temperature range from -30°C to +200°C.

3. Wear resistance:

- The parts inside the engine will generate friction during operation. The oil seal needs to have good wear resistance to ensure a long service life.

4. Anti-aging performance:

- It can resist the influence of high temperature inside the engine, oil erosion and external environmental factors, and is not easy to age and deteriorate, ensuring the long-term stability of the sealing performance.

Working conditions

1. Working temperature:

- Generally, it works in the temperature range from -30°C to +200°C, which depends on the selection of rubber materials and the actual working conditions of the engine.

2. Working pressure:

- It bears the oil pressure inside the engine. According to different engine models and working states, the pressure range is generally between 0.1MPa and 1MPa.

3. Working medium:

- Mainly engine lubricating oil, which has a certain viscosity and corrosiveness. The oil seal needs to have good compatibility with the lubricating oil and will not be damaged by oil erosion.

4. Working environment:

- The working environment of excavators is harsh. The engine oil seal needs to be able to withstand the influence of unfavorable factors such as vibration, impact, dust, and muddy water. At the same time, it also needs to adapt to different climatic conditions such as high temperature, low temperature, and humidity.
