This kit is used for the in vitro qualitative detection of Echinococcus granulosus Rudolphi nucleic acid in the liver, lung, spleen, kidney, and other organs of live sheep that are diseased or suspected of being diseased. Mild infections and early stages of infection typically show no obvious symptoms. In cases of severe infection, the affected sheep may exhibit signs such as raised, often matted hair, poor fattening, and, when the lungs are involved, a noticeable cough. After coughing, the sheep often lie down and are reluctant to stand. If the parasite is located on the surface of the liver, digestive disturbances may occur. Therefore, accurate detection and confirmation of the presence of this pathogen are crucial for the control and prevention of the epidemic. The test results from this kit provide a qualitative determination of whether the suspected sheep is infected with Echinococcus granulosus.

Test Procedure & Result Read
1.Sample Prep：Extract nucleic acid using the extraction kit as per instructions; add 50 µL buffer to the positive control, vortex, and set aside; no processing for the negative control.
2.Reagent Prep：Calculate N (N = sample number + 1 negative control + 1 positive control), prepare the corresponding amount of reaction mix (8-well strips); add 20 µL buffer to each tube and cap.
3.Sample Addition：Add 5 µL of processed samples, negative control, and positive control to the tubes with buffer, cap, vortex, and centrifuge briefly to avoid droplets on walls or caps.
4.PCR Detection：Place PCR tubes in the PCR machine, set up negative control, positive control, and unknown samples; select FAM channel for result 1, VIC or HEX channel for result 2; run amplification program as set.
