1. The difference between cast coated and resin coated photo paper
☻ Cast coated: Cheap, good color performance, good water resistance, color won’t fade easily, the base-paper is fluffy, will
deform when get water sometimes. Most of them do not support pigment ink. This Photo Paper is waterproof photo paper, but it will
be deformed when wet.
☻ Resin Coated: It retains almost all the advantages of ordinary high-gloss photo paper, instantdry, and can be picked up and used
after printing. High brightness, strong ink absorption ability, high color saturation of printed photos, strong water resistance,
even if soaked in water for a long time. But because of ozone, it will turn yellow after a long time (different brands and
different degrees). And it is more expensive than cast coated photo paper.
2. What is Cast coated photo paper?
☻ Cast coated photo papers are based on a normal paper (unlike microporous that is PE based) and only comes in a gloss finish due
to its specific production method. To make cast coated paper the paper goes through hot metal rollers after the coating has been
applied.
3. What's the characteristics of adhesive photo paper?
☻ Adhesive photo paper is a kind of photo paper with glue on the back, with good viscosity and good printing effect. It can be used to make personalized albums, and certain larger specifications will also be used to produce advertising materials.The most commonly used sizes are A3 and A4, and the common grammages are 80, 115, 135, 150 (gsm).
