Needle Grade Petroleum Carbon Bulk Calcined Petroleum Coke Powder for Carburizer Coke for Metallurgical Casting Foundry Coke
Carbon raiser
Carbon raiser is a big category that includes calcined petroleum coke(CPC), graphite petroleum coke(GPC), calcined anthracite coal(CAC), and natural graphite. Due to the high price of natural graphite, it is not suitable for steelmaking or casting, so calcined petroleum coke, graphite petroleum coke, and calcined coal are more suitable for the current steelmaking and casting process.
1. Calcined Petroleum Coke(CPC) :
Carbon raiser CPC materials: Raw Petroleum Coke (RPC);
Carbon raiser CPC process: high temperature pyrolysis;
Carbon raiser CPC application: used to make anodes for the aluminium, steel and titanium smelting industry; graphite electrode & other carbon consuming industries.
2. Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC) : can be divided into high temperature graphitization and medium temperature graphitization.
High-temperature graphitized petroleum coke:
Carbon raiser GPC materials: Raw Petroleum Coke (RPC);
Carbon raiser GPC process: with a temperature of 3000 ℃ above,long-term calcination, complete graphitizaton;
Carbon raiser GPC Features: high fixed carbon, low gas impurity content, rapid dissolution and high recovery;
Carbon raiser GPC application: the first choice for ductile cast iron for recarburization.
Medium-temperature/semi graphitized petroleum coke:
Carbon raiser GPC materials: Raw Petroleum Coke (RPC);
Carbon raiser GPC process: high temperature semi graphitized. the calcination temperature is in the range of 1700-2700 ℃;
Carbon raiser GPC Features: high fixed carbon, fast dissolution, high recovery,and moderate sulfur content(0.20-0.40%),low nitrogen content(800-2000 ppm), same lubrication and clear drawing with high-temperature graphitized petroleum coke;
Carbon raiser GPC application: used in recarburization of gray cast iron, which is of high cost-effective.
3. Calcined Anthracite Coal (CAC) : The raw material of the anthracite recarburizer is anthracite, which went through dry distillation at 1300℃ to reduce volatile matter and increase the solid carbon content.
