Product Description




Overview
Manganese mineral belongs to the weak magnetic minerals, which can be recovered by high-intensity magnetic separator. JXSC applies the magnetic process to separate manganese mineral, including two stages, rough separate the high-intensity magnetic ore and concentrate the medium intensity magnetic ore, thus improve the manganese grade by 4% to 10%.

The magnetic extraction process of manganese mineral can be applied to separate high phosphate ore, high-silicon ore and low bixbyite ore.


Manganese ore beneficiation process
Most manganese ore is a fine-grain, and contains phosphorus ore, iron ore and associated minerals, which brings a great difficulty to beneficiation processing. At present, the commonly used manganese ore beneficiation methods are mechanical beneficiation methods (washing, screening, gravity separation, strong magnetic separation and flotation), as well as special beneficiation methods (fire enrichment, chemical beneficiation, etc.).

1. Washing and sieving
● Washing is the separation of ore and mud under hydraulic, mechanical and self-friction action, which improves the ore grade. Main ore washing equipment includes ore trommel screen, cylinder trommel scrubber and tank washing
machines.
● The washing is often accompanied by screening, and the screen machine separates the cleaned ore into different sizes
for use in a different area.


2. Gravity separation
● Gravity beneficiation is based on the difference in density and particle size of the mineral. The shape of the mineral particles affects the accuracy of sorting by density to some extent. Gravity separation can be used for concentrating,
also for tailing processing and preconcentration. In addition, gravity separation generally consists of a combination process with magnetic separation and flotation.
● The density of manganese oxide ore is generally about 3.7~3.9t/m3, which is significantly different from silicate type gangue. Commonly used gravity separators include mineral jigs, shaker table, cyclones, chutes, and
the like.
● The density of manganese carbonate ore is 3.3~3.6t/m3, which has a small difference from the density of gangue. It
needs to be separated by heavy medium separators.


3. Strong magnetic separation
●Manganese mineral is a weak magnetic mineral ( the specifical magnetization coefficient x=10×10-6~600×10-6cm3/g ), and it can be recovered in a strong magnetic field magnetic separator with a magnetic field strength Ho=800~1600kA/m (10000~20000oe), the manganese grade is increased by 4% to 10%.
●The magnetic separators are easy to control, suitable for various manganese ore process. The most commonly used machine is the medium-grain strong magnetic separator, followed by the coarse-grained and fine-grained magnetic separators, the micro-grain-strong magnetic separator is still in the experimental stage.
10~25mm, using CGD-38 roll strong magnetic separator;
1~10mm, using CS-1, CS-2 series strong magnetic separators;
0.05~1mm, using ShP and SZC series strong magnetic separator.

30TPH Manganese Processing Plant.

This setup is one 30tph alluvial and Rock manganese processing plant, it is configured with a vibrating feeder, trommel scrubber, belt conveyor, chute feeder, jaw crusher, hammer crusher, jig machine, magnetic separator. This plant is suitable for raw ore with much sticky clay. The processing capacity can be designed based on your mineral situation and requirements.

1. The raw ore is fed into the hopper via excavator, under the hopper, then use a vibrating feeder to feed the material to trommel scrubber more evenly for washing the sticky clay. The feeding size to trommel scrubber is better controlled less than 75mm, so the vibrating feeder can design with a grizzly bar with a 75mm gap. It can separate the big stone size >75mm.
2. The >75mm big stone size is transported to the hopper before the crusher directly by a belt conveyor.
3. The <75mm goes to the trommel scrubber for washing directly. The trommel with screen part and the screen with 2 layers screen mesh( mesh aperture 2mm & 20mm). That’s mean it can sieve out size: 0-2mm, 2-20mm. 20-75mm.Three different kinds of output.
4. The 0-2mm part has around 33% percentage, use the connecting steel chute to feed into two jig machines for manganese separation first. The concentrates from the jig machine will go to two drums magnetic separators to refine the manganese again.
5. The 2-20mm part takes around 33% percentage as well, use the connecting steel chute to feed into two jig machines for manganese separation. 6. Different jig machines to process different range particles, the effect will be much better.
7. The bigger size 20-75mm transport to the next hopper to mixed together with the >75mm particles. Under the hopper, use a chute feeder to feed the jaw crusher for crushing big stones into smaller less than 40mm.
8. The output from the jaw crusher will transport to the second crushing hammer crusher by conveyor. We design two hammer crushers used here for smoother discharge here.
9. The output from the hammer crusher will be pumped to another two jig machines by a slurry pump. Two jig machines for manganese separation first. The concentrates from the jig machine will go to two drums magnetic separator to refine the manganese concentrates again.
10. All the tailing from the jig machine and magnetic separator will go to a tailing pond, and you can transport it away by a slurry pump.




100TPH Manganese Processing Plant.

1. this setup is a rock manganese process plant, it is configured with a vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, cone crusher, vibrating
screen working together to crush and sieve the manganese ore to 25mm.
2. the transit hopper is designed to store and transit the 0-25mm ores and then feed evenly to jig separators through two units of electromagnetic vibrating feeder and belt conveyors.
3. The concentrate 2-25mm from jig separators goes to concentrate pool, the tailings go to dewatering screen, the under-screen materials go to settling pond while the overscreen materials being conveyed to sand pile.

1. this setup is a manganese process plant, it is configured with a vibrating feeder to send materials to jaw crusher for rough grinding, then to cone crusher grinding materials to small size. after that use a vibrating screen separator smaller size and use a spiral classifier to wash the final products.

notes: the belt conveyor from jaw crusher to cone crusher will need to add the iron remover to make sure the safe and efficient work of the cone crusher. the spiral chute will normally make two phases, the concentrate from the first phase spiral chute will to the second phase to concentrate again, that will make sure a higher grade and also release the workload of the magnetic separator.
