About zivun: Our Upcycled Fashion Brand
The Mission: As we sort 40 tons of second-hand clothing, some items, due to design or condition, are unsuitable for resale. Instead of discarding these items, we repurpose them into new creations through our upcycling brand, zivun, giving them new value and reintroducing them to the market.
The Vision: zivun aims to be a space where individuals can express their unique identities. We aspire to gather like-minded creators who collaborate to produce one-of-a-kind pieces. Through partnerships with professional designers and fashion students, we craft distinctive works while providing students with invaluable experience in “responsible creation” and “responsible selling.”
Special Projects:
Kimono Fashion: Among the 40 tons of clothing we source, we frequently acquire a significant number of kimonos, a symbol of Japanese culture. While traditional kimonos can be challenging to wear in casual settings, zivun reimagines these garments into modern, daily-wear fashion.
