Arnica flowers, Arnica genus Asteraceae. Mostly distributed in northwestern North America. The typical species A. angustifolia is produced in the Arctic region of Asia and the Americas.

The leaves are narrow, the flowers are orange-yellow, the diameter of the flower head is 5~7 cm (2~2.5 inches), the stem is 20-60 cm long, and the flower blooms. The flowering period is May-August. It can grow in barren land.

This is the most important species arnica species (A. montana), native to the northern and central highlands of Europe, perennial, herbaceous, containing volatile oil, used to treat bruises.
