Lithium silicate is a water-soluble silicate. Odorless, tasteless transparent liquid. Soluble in water and alkaline solutions, insoluble alcohols and organic solvents. Because the radius of lithium ion is much smaller than that of sodium and potassium ion, lithium silicate aqueous solution has some unique properties, like sodium water glass, chemical reaction with acid to generate dioxide gel.

Application
2.Lithium silicate is used as a binder, mainly for inorganic zinc-rich coatings and advanced welding rods.
3. Lithium metasilicate as the coating base material, water can be used as the solvent to form the coating film.
4.Lithium Silicate can be used as adhesives for wood, paper, plastic, fiberboard, insulation board, automotive brakes and clutches, etc.
5.Lithium Silicate can be used in offshore engineering, oil pipelines, ships, Bridges and architectural coatings, such as kitchens, toilets, buildings and various structural structures. It is especially suitable for wet environment and water-resistant decorative coatings.
6.Lithium Silicate powder, as a surface treatment agent, can be directly coated on metal surfaces to be used as anti-rust liquid, anti-corrosion agent and light and color preservation on steel surfaces.
