Asphalt saturated organic felt ASTM D226 / ASTM D4869

Description:

A heavy-weight asphalt roofing felt made of a specially formulated organic sheet which has been fully saturated with waterproofing asphalt.

Asphalt saturated organic felt is processed by making the paper base soaked in low-softening petroleum asphalt, then covered with high softening petroleum asphalt, and last coated with isolating materials such as talk powder.

Usage:

A roofing felt used as an underlay beneath asphalt shingles, wood shakes, tiles and other sloped coverings.

It is widely applied to the simple waterproofing, temporary-building waterproofing, building dampproofing, packing; as well as the single, multi-layers waterproofing of building roofs, underground facilities, water conservancy projects, etc.
