Start, stop and run
1. Start up: first, confirm that the direction of the fire pump should be correct. Before the water free start of the pipe network, the inlet valve is normally open and the outlet valve is normally closed. Start the fire pump after there is no mistake, and gradually open the outlet valve when the fire pump operates stably and adjust it to the operating point of the pump. The outlet valve is normally open when there is water in the pipe network.
2. Operation: when the fire pump turns to normal operation, check the shaft seal and observe the operation of the bearing. The leakage of mechanical seal shall not exceed 3 drops per minute, and the leakage of packing seal shall be drop by drop. The bearing temperature shall not exceed 75 ℃, and the temperature rise shall not exceed 35 ℃. If there is any abnormal response during the operation of the fire pump, stop the inspection.
3. Generally, close the outlet valve of the pump unit before stopping the pump, and then stop the diesel engine.
