 1.Why do we need slotted liners?

Different types of oil need different types of equipment. We have what is called "heavy oil" in China. Heavy oil is also found in Canada, Columbia, Venezuela, Mexico, Abu Dhabi, Russia, Australia and Africa. Heavy oil is filled with sand and other sedimentary material. The slotted pipes are used to filter more than 98 percent of the sand out while the well is being pumped.

2.How do slotted liners work?

Slotted liners effectively filter out the sand and other contaminants from the oil that is produced.

 3.Why are they called liners?

Liners is a generic term given to any sand control device that is placed in a well bore for sand control applications.

4.What size slots do you manufacture?

Our slots range in width from .010 (10,000th) of an inch up to .250 (one quarter) of an inch. The slots are usually between one and a half and two inches long. Please contact us for more information about slot sizes.
