Ceramic sharpening rods are useful for getting a super-fine for edge on your knives. This ceramic sharpening rod can regain your cutting performance with just a few strokes. The rod is round so it can be used to sharpen scissors, kitchen knives, fruit knives and all other metal cutlery.

The grooved portion is for rough sharpening, the smooth section for fine sharpening. It is not available to use on ceramic knife blades. It has a high degree of hardness for it consists of alumina. It will never get rusty, friendly to environment, healthy, and easy to clean.
