Catalytic Converter Support Mat TYM

TYM Mat is made of resistance ceramic fiber and handpicked vermiculite. TYM Mat has given the excellent performance with the benefit of Years of insulation products manufactured in advanced technology.

Compared with wire mesh, TYM provide lower the outside temperature of the catalytic converter, increasing the internal temperature and conversion efficiency.

2. Right expansibility and Good flexibility

3. Prevent exhaust gas bypass

Under normal operating conditions, TYM Mat can seal the monolith perimeter to prevent exhaust bypass, because all the good things for catalytic converter are meaningless without effective sealing.

4. Compared with wire mesh, TYM can improve the exhaust systems noise situation.

Application Of The Edge Seal Hybrid Mat
TYM 300 mats can also be combined very effectively with TYM 200 mats to from Hybrid mats.
The edge seal hybrid mats are normally comprises one or two narrow strips of 300 mat on one or both sides of a wide strip of intumescent mat. The 200 mat strips protect the leading and/or trailing edges of the intumescent mat from erosion caused by impingement, high temperature , and pulsation effects of the exhaust gas.
