GENERAL INFORMATION

Dentex 37% Phosphoric Acid Etchant is a polymer - thickened phosphoric acid formulation intended for use on enamel and dentin. ThisETCHANT will effectively remove the smear layer ,etch and demineralize enamel and dentin ,producting the necesssary microretentive surface for successful bonding .The polymer thickener creates thixotropic properties,enhancing handing characteristics. The etchant rinses away cleanly and quickly, leaving no residue.

[FUNCTION]

The polymer thickener creates thixotropicproperties ,enhancing handling chaacteristics.The etchant rinses away cleanly and quickly, leaving no residue.

[INDICATIONS]

Etching dentin and enamel

Cleaning agent on dental restorative material

[INSTRUCTIONS]

Isolate tooth and prepare the cavity in a conservative manner. Clean the entire surface with a slurry of pumice and water.

1.Apply etchant using a tip ,a disposable syring tip ,or disposable brush tip.Allow etchant to remain in place for 15seconds.Etching time should be monitored with a stopwatch. Begin timing at the end of application.

Option:Place etchant on enamel first ,then proceed to cover dentin,for a slightly longer enamel etching time

2.Rinse thoroughly (at least 5 seconds) to completely remove all traces of etchant.

3.Remove excess moisture form the tooth and proceed with the application of Dentex Self-Etching Adhesive referred to manufacturer’s instructions.

[WARNING]

The phosphoric acid in the etchant is a severe eye and skin irritant. Injury man result if the etchant is allowed to remain on the skin or mucosa for extended periods of time. If accidentally splashed into the eye ,flush with copious  amounts of water and seek medical attention immediately .In case of contact with other tissues, rinse immediately with plenty of water for several minutes.

[CAUTIONS]

Cross -contamination :Product may contain items that are designed for one time use. Dispose of used or contaminated TIPS and syringe tips. Do not clean ,disinfect or reuse.

[PRECAUTIONS]

Keep away form direct sunlight.

See individual component labels for specific expiration dates.

[STORAGE]

Store at 1 -25 degree or less in a cool and dry place and avoid direct sun exposure. Recap the bottle after use.

[DISPOSAL]

After the product is used up ,dispose it as normal medical rubbish.
