HPC005 infrared people counter is accurate, reliable, easy to install, low maintenance, and very affordable. 13. Battery capacity. The batteries which we provide can work up to 1-1.5 year. Customers can buy the batteries locally, or buy from us. General 1.5V-3.6V AA batteries are workable.
14. Strong anti-light ability. Greatly decrease the counting error affected by light, so higher accuracy rate.
15. Strong glass (door) penetrating ability. It can work well behind an open glass door.
16. More confidential data transfer. TX-RX transfer data to Data Receiver is strongly encrypted, so more safer.
17. Obstacle indication. If the infrared ray is blocked, there will be a indication on the LED screen and the red light on the RX will keep flashing.
18. LED Display is possible. You could show the data on a outside LED display. A protocol will be sent for this.
19. OEM/ ODM is available. Your logo can be sticked on the devices.

Softwares
There are two softwares for HPC005.
1. Stand alone software
This is free and used in single store. The report chart as below:
2. Network software
To centralize the data to head office.
Not free, cost $1100. One-time purchase, free use for life and for hundreds of stores. More than 100 sets, this charge will be refunded.
With a network software, you can check all the data collected from different chain stores and compare them.
Below is the analysis chart from one of our customer’s Chain stores, the customer can visit all store’s data at anywhere. (the English version software will be all in English)
With a network software, you can also check the data by your phone. Kindly remind that it is not a APP, you need to input the website and login with account and password.
Installation
The infrared counter works by IR (infrared rays) beam, it will count if any opaque or non-transparent objects cut the beam. The installation is "Plug and Play".
In order to improve the counting accuracy, the installation height of the counter is important. The below two positions height recomended:
Position 1: 120cm-140cm (Recommended Position)
This position height means from shoulder to head to a person, the counter will not be affected by arms swing. But Children will not be counted.
Position 2: 60cm
This position hegiht means the pocket of trousers or thighs. The counter will not be affected by both legs and arms. And Children will also be counted.
Peel-stick-count, easy installation.
1. For a single store with one entrance
2. For a single store with several entrances
8 sensors at most can be connected into one DC, just make sure the distance between each entrance and DC is less than 40 meters. The software can distinguish every entrances. Details as below:

1. How does the infrared people counter work?
A: It is based on infrared sensors (Receiver & Transmitter) that is mounted on both sides of entrance. RX (Receiver) wirelessly send the data to data receiver within 40m.
2. How many sets of sensors can connect with data receiver?
A: If the distance from computer to entrances is within 40m, one data receiver can connect with 8 sets of sensors.
3. Is the software free?
A: Standalone software is free for single store.
Network software is especially for chain stores, the costs will be returned when quantity reaches 100 sets.
4. Can I collect all data in head office?
A: Yes. With a network software, all data can be centralized in server and checked at anywhere and anytime.
5. Can I check the data on a smartphone? Is there an APP?
A: Yes. With a network software, you can also check the data on your phone. Kindly remind that it is not an APP, you need to input the website and login with account and password.
6. How long can the batteries in sensors last?
A: The batteries that we provide can last for 1-1.5 year, but it will be up to the actual people traffic.
7. Can I replace the battery in local?
A: Yes, general 1.5V-3.6V AA battery can be replaced.
8. Is the installation easy?
A: It is very easy, just like” plug and play”
9. Can I extra the data to integrate with other application, such as POS/ERP? Will you provide free API?
A: Yes, we provide free detailed API for system integration.
