The raw material of VCI-SS (Silver Safe) non-ferrous metal anti-oxidation paper is bleached smooth kraft paper with silicon-free coating .It reacts with sulfides in the air, preventing it from reacting with metals. The rust inhibitor applied is sufficient to keep the vci paper up to several months of rust resistance.
