The ACR1255U-J1 Secure Blue Reader combines the latest 13.56 MHz contactless technology with Bluetooth Smart Connect.
The ACR1255U-J1 supports ISO 14443 Class A and Class B smart cards, most of the tags and devices that comply with the ISO 18092 standard, and is therefore suitable for a wide range of solutions, such as automatic verification of access control and logical access control, inventory tracking, and more. The ACR1255U-J1 provides two interfaces, Bluetooth Smart (also known as Bluetooth Low Energy or BLE) for pairing mobile devices, and USB full-speed interface for connected operation. In addition, it can read and
write contactless smart cards up to 424 Kbps.
The compact design of the ACR1255U-J1 uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for use with most Bluetooth-enabled smartphones and tablets, making it extremely mobile and convenient.
The hardware of the ACR1255U-J1 can be easily upgraded in the field to save valuable cost and time. In this way, users can cope with technologies that are used in different scenarios by different applications and often change rapidly.
