I only like to use this pen for decorative things, I don't think I could use it for everyday use.
It writes much more thickly than I had anticipated, and because of this it eats through ink quite rapidly.
But, for decorative use, it's superb. I'm, by all means, not very experienced with calligraphy. I write in cursive and this pen makes my handwriting look wonderful without any more effort on my part.
This pen writes quite smoothly, sometimes the ink flow isn't great, but for $8 it's not a bad buy at all. The grip's firm, and I really haven't had any major problems with it yet. I'd recommend it.
