What is Polyacrylamide?

Polyacrylamide/Polyelectrolyte (PAM) is water-soluble polymers, insoluble in most organic solvents, has good flocculation, can reduce the frictional resistance between the liquids, according to the ionic character it has four types.

Polyacrylamide Application:

√.Drilling Mud additives for oil field. As mud additives to increase the viscosity of water to impove the effectiveness of the water flooding process.

√.Bore Piling construction use.It often use to match up with Bentonite to protect drills,increase lubrication and drilling speep.

√.Coal Washing and Mineral Separation. Can be used in coal washing tailing centrifugal separation, for sedimentation and filtration of coal powder and coal mud, and can improve the recovery rate of coal powder and the filtration speed.

√.As flocculants for water treatment. Dosing polyacrylamide can reduce the consumption of coagulant and speed up sedimentation.

√.Thickening agent for Textile printing and coating. Added with some other chemicals to prepare chemical grout, is used to starch textiles, can improve the adhesive property, penetrability and desizing performance, enables the textile to have electrostatic prevention performance, reduces the desizing rate.

√.Wet strengthening agent, resident agent for paper making. Used as fixing agent, residency agent, filtration aid and paper dry and wet intensity reinforcing agent in paper-making industry.

√.Sewage Treatment&Sludge Dewatering. It is more suitable to select nonionic or cationic, If matched with PAC, aluminium sulphate and the like, and it has the best effect in water treatment.

√.Sugar Refining and juice clarifying.According to the function of flocculant, adhesiveness,thickening,It often used in sugar and juice industry.

√.As concrete additives. It is more suitable to select nonionic PAM and It always used to improve the interaction between concrete particles,increasing the concrete strength,toughness.

When drilling machinery working,It will need high requirement to the drilling mud:

√.Has cooling and lubrication performance to the drills.

√.Reducing friction between drilling rod and hole wall effectively.To improve drilling rate and enhance drilling rod and drill bit’s service life.

√.Reducing the vibration of drilling rod and avoid the damage of hole wall.To ensure drilling safety work.

√.Form a protective film on the wall surface to balance strata pressure and prevent collapse.

√.Content of solid phase should not be too high.Or the slurry pump pressure will be increase,the drilling cuttings hard to impeded and increase rotation resistance.Thereby reducing the drilling efficiency.

How to use YX-D101 and prepare solutions:

1. Check preparation situations of slurry products before use and clean the agitation tank.

2. Select correct drilling mud type in accordance with strata conditions.

3. Measure fresh water and mud ratio based on formulation,to avoid waste or adverse performance.

4. After slurry is mixed,it should not be store for too long time,generally 3-5 days is no problem.Using immediately after agitation is perfect.

5. Mixed with other factory’s slurry material is forbidden.It may be have chemical reaction and break performance.
