In 2010, France and Belgium banned the Formamide in play mat (the Formamide content should not exceed 2 ppm) since the Formamide damages central nervous system and urinary system of human being.

Komat proceeded to develop the Toxic-free formula for the EVA foam material and successfully developed the toxic-free EVA foam formula before enacting of the product safety regulation in the European Union and Taiwan.

We keep developing the innovative materials and more product applications; besides of toxic-free EVA foam products, Komat also developed the Toxic-free and eco-friendly 100% TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer)foam products and TPE Materials for the slipper. This product has filed patent applications in many countries. Its specialty is the “jigsaw” design. This mat can be disassembled into 4 pieces and be reassembled into 2 jigsaws.
