1) High Quality cucumbers dutch buckets are designed to be fed by drip emitters and plumbed to drain using a common 1.5" PVC pipe, which we can provide.

2) Siphon Elbows regulate safety reservoir of nutrient solution at bottom of bucket to 1" deep.This feature prevents growing medium from drying out and causing water stress between irrigationcycles.Siphon pipe also prevents over accumulation of nutrient solution. Two siphon elbows are recommendedper each bucket.

3) You can use just about any type of growing media, including expanded clay pellets, perlite, and coconut coir.

The Commercial hydroponic systems Dutch Bato Bucket uses a drip system where the water is transported via plastic pipes to a series of specially designed buckets that have a drain at the bottom. The plants are set in a net basket filled with perlite or another medium. The nutrient solution is dripped into the basket, soaking the roots; the excess fluid flows out the drain at the bottom of the bucket and into a PVC pipe which transports it back to the reservoir.
