Using way: put the alloy head into the chain breaker, then alloy head just touch the top of pin of chain, clamp the roller, press wrench, then the pin will be squeezed out, then the chain is cut. For example, the chain is 11links, and you want to shortened to 8 links, then usually you need to disassembly two pins, and make it 7links and then use one connecting link to assemble to be 8 links.

This chain breaker is the professional tool which used in chain factory, easy to use and save your labor.

Chain Breaker Usage Instructions

Please put the alloy head which inside small plastic bag into the chain breaker, withstand the pin in the drawing below at A or B, use V-type bayonet to stuck roller, rotate the wrench, then the chain pin will be ejected , chain is cut.

Please kindly note that when you disassemble the chain, you should calculate the chain length first, take the above chain for example, it is 11 links, if you want to split into 6 links for usage, you have to split the pin in the above image of A and B, so that the chain is cut to 5 links, both end are inner links, then you can connect with one connecting links, then it is endless 6links for usage. If you remove pin in wrong place, for example, you remove pin at A, and pin next B, then you have to connect with a offset link which will influence the chain strength and usage and also can not be 6links for usage.
