India is the major exporter of Grapes in the world. Black Jumbo is one type of seedless
grape. Black jumbo size varies from 18-22mm. It has more sugar content compared to
other varieties of 19 brix approximately. It is usually available in late winters but if
stored with required deep freezing then it can be made available for the whole year.

b. Procurement

We procure these from some of good well known farms around Nashik Maharashtra.
We are already in arrangements with group of farmers who produce exclusively as per
our requirement in order to fulfil all our bulk quantity as well as quality in relation to
export. In future we are planning to hire few farms in expectation of some big orders.

c. Transport

They get transported from farms in trucks to cold storage houses at where we do
packing as per customers’ requirements. After that we load them in Air Conditioned
Container at Nashik which gets transported through road upto Nhava Sheva Port in
Mumbai for uploading in ship. It takes average of 28-30 days to reach at our customers.

d. Distribution

As per standard packing practice of grapes, they are packed in corrugated boxes. Boxes
are lined with bubbled cushioned pad. Bunches are packed individually in plastics
pouches with handles and in punnets. They are ventilated with air holes for circulation.
We also do customised packaging and sorting as per customer’s requirement with
specific sizes.
