20 Strips Fluvalinate Strip For Varroa Mite Bee Medicine Mite Killer
Fluvalinate strip is packaged as chemical-impregnated strips that look kind of like bookmarks. Hang the plastic strips in the brood chamber between frames. You’re positioning the strips close to the brood so the bees naturally come into contact with the miticide they contain. The bees will brush up against each other and transfer the fluvalinate throughout the hive.
Method of application:
1. Open package, suspend 1/2 strips between the frames for standard 10 frames colony, apply five times as a treatment, interval six days.
2. Lay half strip on the frame, repeat after 10 days, repeat again after another 10 days.
3. Insert half strip into hive 10m away from door.
Treatment time:
u Can be used at any time of year, after fall, early spring, after honey artesian are the best times to treat the varroa mites. The strips are not to be used during honey artesian.
u Treated on a sunny morning before 12 clock, be cautious when under 15℃, forbid-used when cloudy and rainy day.
Caution:
u Do not leave the strips in the hive for more than 8 weeks.
u Wear gloves when handling strips. Avoid contact with skin, mouth and eyes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling strips.Do not smoke, drink or eat during application.
u Store away from foodstuffs. Keep out of reach of children.
u Do not store strips near pesticides or other chemical substances.
u Use strips for one treatment only; do not re-use strips.
u Dispose of used strips safely.
