Our Mermaid Supporter is constructed using the plank of frame method; We use only the highest materials such as rosewood, mahogany, teak, ebony, and many more. This model is completely hand built to spec with astonishing details. The boat is painted in glossy original colors red, white, blue, and black. On the boat, there are wooden ladders with metal handle, wooden navigation tower, rope cranes, one wooden canoe, painted metal cages, many black lifeguard tubes around the boat, imprinted in white “Mermaid Supporter” right off the port bow, two metal propellers underneath the boat, painted metal fence on the front deck, tinted windows, and much more. This model is completely hand built by skillful and creative master craftsmen; you will be amazed at how real it looks. Our Mermaid Supporter model was built according to scale through original plans, pictures and drawings (Scale: 1:

History
Year built: 2001, 45m long, Horse Power: 4800. Vessel Type: AHTS. Managed by Mermaid Marine, Australia. Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels can supply oil platforms, tow them to location, anchor them up and, in a few cases, serve as an Emergency Rescue and Recovery Vessel (ERRV). AHTS differ in the most part from Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) as they are fitted with winches for towing and anchor handling and have an open stern to allow the decking of anchors, plus more power to increase the bollard pull.

Our ships have crossed the Pacific Ocean in 2001 and have been sailing all over America since then. As a new venture of Old Modern Handicrafts, full size and functional wooden kayaks, canoes have been highly appraised by many customers. These boats are made of western red cedar which is imported from Canada and topped with US made fiber glass. The quality is striking and just in 2005, we have exported containers of kayaks and canoes to USA, Canada and Europe.
Our goal doesn't stop there, we are seeking partnerships and business consultants to build the big boats.
