JK-01NP Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde (Na₂SO₄≤5%)

Description

JK-01NP is a naphthalene-based highly effective water reducing agent for promoting accelerated early and ultimate strength development, commonly referred to as a superplasticizer, also named Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde Condensate (NSF), SNF, PNS and FDN etc.

JK-01NP possesses the features of no retarding, no air-introducing, superplastic high water-reducing and strength enhancing. It has no chloride, low alkali content, low sulphonate, and high purity. It can be widely used in different concretes with less dosage and easy to use.

JK-01NP can be applied to make flowing, strong or steam-curing concrete. The minimum working temperature can be as low as 0℃degrees. In steam curing, concrete with superplasticizer has to be strong enough before heating. The steam curing specification has to be pre-tested. It is particularly used as base material for compound admixtures.

Uses

Ø Produces the high slump flowing concrete with no loss in strength.Produces low water/cement ratio concrete with high strengths.

Ø Ideal for using in high strength concrete, flowing concrete, early strength concrete, precast steam curing concrete, prestressed concrete etc. where it is desired to keep the water/cement ratio to a minimum and still achieve the degree of workability necessary to provide easy placement and consolidation.

Ø Be used as basic material to produce others compound admixtures, (such as accelerating and water-reducing admixture, retarding and water-reducing admixture, pumping antifreeze and pumping water-reducing admixture, etc.)

Ø Improve workability (slump) of concrete when added into mixing truck.

Specifications

Dosage

0.5-1.5% by weight of cement. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.

JK-02NP can be added directly or added in after dissolved in water. It can be added during mixing and after-mixing (better). The after-mixing approach can achieve better result.

Package, Storage & Shelf Life                                                            

For powder: Powder packed in 25kg PE bag, 25kg PP bag, 650kg jumbo bag.

It should be stored in a dedicated warehouse that is well-ventilated and dry and keep away from moisture. 

Shelf Life: Minimum 12 months. After the expiration date, it can be used if testing results is qualified.
