So let's be real about this. This is the same EXACT tent as the MSR Hubba Hubba 3P tent. It's also the same EXACT tent as the Nemo 3P Tent. But, the main difference is the cost. This tent was $101.99 on Amazon. The MSR and Nemo tents are $599... each. That's 5-6x the value! If you grab some tyvek sheeting instead of the footprint you can shave 1.3 lbs. Replace the stakes with Ti stakes and you are LIGHTER than the MSR or Nemo tents.

As for quality. I have 0 things to complain about. Every stitch looked perfect. There were no loose frayed ends. The tub (floor of tent) was taped and sealed very well. Absolutely no holes or issues I could find. The aluminum poles are nice, strong, and durable. Hint for some of you is to NOT FORCE ANYTHING!!! If it won't go in, look inside and see if it's debris or something. It's a tight fit as it should be, but don't be over zealous.

Easy to setup. Easy to break down. Hands down the best tent on the market if you want double walls and lots of room for minimal weight and cost.

Again, $39.7 is the best deal I've ever found for a tent of this EXCELLENT quality. This tent is the MSR Hubba Hubba / Nemo 2P tent from a company that has some real promise. There are multiple ways to save weight as I called out in the video. Some are already employed by the MSR / Nemo guys. For example, neither include a ground sheet, which you have to buy for $50-79.00 in addition to the $400 tent, depending on how thick you want the "official" footprint to be.

Without the footprint the tent weighs 3.8 lbs. Take away the heavy stakes (another 3-4 oz) and replace them with Ti stakes and the ground sheet with a Tyvek sheet (4-5 oz), and you have a LIGHTER tent than the MSR or Nemo $400 tents.

Best value on the internet. Two doors, great zippers, two vestibules to store your gear in, and lots of extra room to sleep at night.

The one down side is that this tent hasn't been proven to the backpacking community. The unfortunate side is that people perceive value for a piece of equipment by if it costs a bunch of money and 'the pros' use it. No thanks. This is my new favorite.

UPDATE CUSTOMER FEEDBACK: (7/8/2018)

I took this tent on two trips. First, to the Gila Ntl. Forest in NM, and second on a 3 day backpacking trip in the Quachita Mountains in Eastern OK, Western Arkansas.

The tent held up really well. The first trip to Gila I used the tent 3 nights in a row. Two of the times I had 6x6 area to set the tent on a ridge line over looking the river. Not much room, but I was able to set it up in the dark by myself in about 5 minutes. Headlamp helped a lot.

No issues with the fly or inner mesh. The zippers worked great. I did discover that I cannot sleep without the fly on. I just feel too exposed.

As for the Quachita Mountains trail, this was 8 days. We had rain 5 out of the 8 nights, and not a drop was found in the tent. There are significantly more mosquitoes here than in NM, and I never had to worry about them getting in. Although, I did have a bumblebee get trapped between the inner mesh and outer fly... that was annoying.

No issues with poles, setup, or tear down. I am careful with my tents. I don't hold it above my head and shake vigirously to clean it out. Be gentle and take care of the equipment and it will last a long time.

My buddy who has an MSR SPUR kept asking where I got the tent because he wants to replace his MSR with this tent when his gives out.

I have 0 complaints about this tent. I am leaving Aug. 8th for Yellowstone to do a through-hike in the Thorofare. I'll try to come back and give an update with pictures there as well.
