(2) Low deformation rate The length change of the FRP pultruded profile after 1000 h artificial accelerated aging is +0.03%, and the width change rate is -0.07%. Therefore, the geometry and size of the article made from the pultruded profile can be maintained for a long period of time.
(3) High heat distortion temperature The hot deformation temperature of the pultruded profile is 186 ° C, which does not soften at high temperature, and does not become brittle at -60 ° C, ensuring normal use at various ambient temperatures.
(4) Low water absorption rate The water absorption rate of ordinary glass fiber reinforced plastic products is less than 0.5%, while the water absorption rate of pultruded profiles is only 0.257%, which is suitable for use in humid environments.
(5) Thermal insulation coefficient The heat transfer coefficient of the pultruded profile is close to that of rigid PVC. The thermal insulation coefficient of the single-frame double-glass insulation window made of it is only 2.69W/(m2?K). The thermal insulation coefficient of the same type of window made of steel and aluminum is up to 4.0W/(m2?K), which indicates that the energy saving of FRP doors and windows is obvious.
(6) Strong corrosion resistance The tensile strength of the pultruded profile was immersed in 3% HCI aqueous solution for 24 h, and the hardness retention rate was 95%. After immersion in 3% NaCl aqueous solution for 24 h, the hardness retention rate was 89%. Therefore, the doors and windows made of FRP pultruded profiles are not only suitable for general residential buildings, hotels, restaurants, but also for industrial plants in coastal areas and corrosive working environments.
