Sawdust sand rotary drum dryer (also called rotary dryer) is used for disposing a wide variety of materials. It enjoys features of reliable operation, high operation flexibility, good adapt ability, good adaptability, large treatment volume and is widely used to dry materials with humidity or granularity in the industries of metallurgy, building material, foodstuff, light industries, coal and chemical,etc.

Working Principle

The wet materials are sent into silo by belt conveyor and bucket conveyor, then, the material pass through the feeding tube into the feed end. The gradient of feeding tube must be greater than the natural angle of materials, So that the material can enter into desiccators. The desiccators’ cylinder is an oblique rotating drum. Heat-carrier that enters into the dryer froe, the low-end can form reflux with the material added from the upper end. With the rotating of cylinder materials are carried to the bottom end by gravity. In the moving process, wet materials obtain the heat input of heat carrier directly and indirectly to be dried. Then,the finished materials are sent out by belt conveyor and screw conveyor.
