B.Application of the pc strand

1. PC strand is  used as cable for special bridges and  maintenance of bridges. 
2. PC strand is used in concrete pillars and supports for the construction of buildings, domes for nuclear power plants and reinforcement of LNG concrete tanks. 

3. PC strand is used as floor and roof reinforcement for sports stadiums.

4. PC strand can be extensively used in construction materials for PC panels, high-pressure concrete water pipes, marine structures, towers and runways.

(3)Each coil is strapped by steel bands at 8 places, fully wrapped with anti-rust plastic & P. P woven sheet with pallet and strapped again by steel bands at 6 places.

Prestressed concrete wire and strand require great caution because they can be easily damaged by improper handling, storage and installation. Users are urged to follow the following recommendations:
(1)Sources of heat should be avoided;
(2)Cutting should be done by a cutter or high speed disc;
(3)Handling should be kept minimum;
(4)Be kept in dry warehouse with good ventilation;
(5)Do not bend the material in a very tight radius;
(6)The material should not be laid on bare ground;
(7)Steel or wood pallets or rubber sheets should be provided.
