Chrome has the characteristics of hardness, wear-resisting, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, which has been widely used in metallurgical industry, refractories and chemical industries. Ferro Chrome is mainly used as alloy additive for steel making. Ferro chrome is mainly used in stainless steel production, of which 200 series stainless steel is about 16%, 300 series stainless steel is about 25%, 400 series stainless steel has chromium content of about 14%. The 300 - line stainless steel is also the largest proportion of stainless steel production.
