Introduction:

Gel solution is a kind of excellent gel stabilizer, which is an anionic slightly cross-linked acrylic(ester) copolymer, alkali swelling emulsion. Gel solution plays a role in suspension, thickening, emulsifying in personal care. Gel solution for water soluble emulsion, low viscosity and easy to use. After the carboxyl group is ionized in the formula, due to the mutual repulsion of negative charge, the molecular chain is diffused and extended, showing a great expansion state, and has a viscosity. At a low dosage, it produces an efficient thickening effect. The gel solution can make the liquid system with special yield value and rheology, and it only needs a very low concentration to make some insoluble additives(particles, oil droplets, etc.) to achieve permanent suspension. Because of its strong suspension ability, gel solution is widely used to stabilize traditional oil/water emulsions and creams, oil droplets and water-insoluble substances in suspended solutions and provide the beautiful appearance for the individual washing formula, enhancing its bright pearl effect in the pearlite product.

Application area:

Suggested usage:10 - 40%

Method of application:

1. Usage in emulsion system formulation:

Dissolve the gel solution in water at room temperature, add other components in the water phase, and heat to 70-80℃.Mix the oil phase in another container and heat to desired temperature.The oil phase was added to the water phase and homogenized.Add neutralizer, adjust pH to neutral and cool to 40℃ while stirring. Add preservative.

2. Usage in shampoo, shower gel and other cleaning products:

Add the gel solution to water, add AES and other surfactants to stir until completely dissolved, add organic or inorganic alkali to adjust the pH of solution to 6.5-7.0, add other components in the formula, stir until uniform, adjust pH and viscosity to the required range.
