Columnar activated carbon (It is classified according to specifications: 15 type, 30 type, 40 type, 50 type, 80 type, and their diameters are: 1.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 80mm.)

B. However, the size of the columnar activated carbon particles greatly affects the surface area of the columnar activated carbon. Generally the finer the columnar activated carbon particles, the faster the adsorption speed of the columnar activated carbon. However, after a certain degree of fineness, the adsorption speed will be slower. Generally, the adsorption rate of fine carbon of 80 mesh or more is the fastest, while that of blocky charcoal is the slowest. Therefore, the columnar activated carbon rejects the fine powder while refining.
