Pologelati is an Italian producer of ice cream, formed in 2000 by a merger of three memorable companies in the province of Foggia, Lobozzo, Fini and Castiglione, which have been on the market for over 40 years. The merger comes from the commitment to a continous improvment, from the technology of the equipment to the quality of products.
The manufacturing plant covers an area of approximately 10000 square metres, of which 6000 square metres are indoors, and it holds 10000 cubic metres and refrigerating rooms for storage.
Special care is aimed at logistics which, from the release to the quick and efficient delivery,
guarantees the cold chain. Over the years we developed reliable skills and methods of production.
Pologelati makes an industrial product with certified rehydrated powdered skimmed milk, with neither milk protein, milk by-products nor palm oil using a careful selection of premium raw materials dictated by over forty years experience in the Lobozzo family business. Pologelati has chosen to adhere to IFS and BRC voluntary certification standards and manages its production activities by continuous and strict control of the manufacturing process according to quality and food safety principles. The decision to certify the company according to international standards is due to the desire to guarantee a high standard of quality in the Italian and foreign markets.
