●What is "Muscat Bailey A" ?
This grape was created in 1927 by Mr. Zenbei Kawakami, who is known as “Father of Japanese Wine & Grapes”, the first Japanese black grape which was officially authorized as Japan native grape variety for wine making by O.I.V., France.
Currently Muscat Bailey A's domestic production volume is the highest as a red wine grape variety.
It features unique fruity aroma, spicy flavor like herbs, soft tannin and less astringency.
●What does "GABU" mean ?
This name comes from a Japanese word, an onomatopoeia, "GABU GABU".
That expresses the sound when you are drinking something quickly and deliciously.
As the name implies, this wine is easy to drink, tasty and friendly with sweet fruit flavor, soft tannin and acidity.
Please cool it lightly before drink.
Pairs good with Sashimi of tuna and bonito, Yakitori with teriyaki sauce, ginger pork etc.
●How is the sale status ?
This is the best selling Muscat Bailey A wine in the category for our domestic customers in Japan.
Though actually we have not often offered to overseas customers by now.
But we realized that "GABU" pairs well with various foods in the world such as Asian, Turkish, Mexican foods ...etc., not only Japanese foods.
The price would be reasonable if you are an importer or distributor who has clients like restaurants, hotels, bars or wine/liquor shops because we can directly export our wines from our factory to your warehouse not through agents or traders. Trade terms and conditions or MOQ are all negotiable.
