How to install?
Gravity system:
We always recommend setting up the filter in gravity. The filter is placed at water level and will then protrude approximately
11-14 cm above the water level. Due to the effect of gravity, your filter fills up with water. A pond pump moves the water from
your filter back to the pond.
Feding-Pump system:
If you choose feeding-pump system, you need to consider these things. First, feeding-pump system will reduce the capacity of Combi Drum Filter. Take a loss of 30% into account.For example,a YCM-03 can handle a maximum of 16.1m3 per hour in gravity setup, and a feeding-pump system a maximum of 16.1m3.There is also a reduction in the capacity of the biological filter section, for example, the YCM-03 will be reduced to 95.5L from 135.11 L of K5 media biological material.
