JC-K-110-2 Series JIU CHEN Melting Furnace is equipped with Thermocouple, SSR, AI Temp-erature Controller. It is specially designed and constructed for melting metals for casting and alloying of metal up to 1200^oC/2192F.

 

 The furnace is an energy-efficient heating equipment with small size, high precision, easy operation, fast heating, and high efficiency.The unit is widely used in melting gold, silver, copper and other metals; Research projects of schools, laboratories; melting and heat treatment projects of non-flammable,It is a best choice for small heating , melting equipment.

   JIU CHEN furnace is designed for handheld pouring directly from the specially designed crucible and tongs.  

The crucible is grooved at the top for easy removal from the furnace using the specially designed tongs that are provided with the furnace.

Electric Melter Furnace Operation

The furnace has two on/off switches: the GREEN switch turns on the temperature thermostat allowing you to set the desired melting temperature.

The RED switch turns on the heating element to start the melting process.

 

The thermostat has two digital read-outs: the bottom readout (SV) displays the setting you enter into the furnace. The top read-out (PV) displays the actual temperature inside the crucible during operation.

 

To set the desired melting temperature, turn on green on/off switch. Wait a few seconds; the bottom (SV) readout should show the default temperature setting of 1950°F.

 

To change the temperature setting, simply press the left arrow key to move the cursor to the proper desired digit and press the up or down keys to adjust it up or down. Adjust each digit to the desired setting.

 

When you are ready, place the metal pieces or grain in the crucible and set the crucible in the furnace. Close the lid.

 

Press the red button to start the melting process.

 

When the metal is molten and has reached casting temperature, turn off the red switch. Open the lid and pour the metal into your prepared flask.
