FEPM High Temperature Resistance Steam Resistance Aflas O Ring Rubber Material Compound

Material type: Tetrafluoroethylene - propylene copolymer TFE/P commonly known as tetrafluororubber. It is an alternate copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and propyleneAdvantages: Good stability, chemical resistance, especially high concentration acid, alkali, strong oxidant performance, high pressure steam resistance, water resistance and electrical insulation performance, low air permeability, service temperature -400~200 ℃

Products: sheet, gasket, rubber hose, roller, O-ring, diaphragm, valve sheet, wire, bottle stopper and other products, widely used in automotive, petroleum, textile, chemical and food industry

Description:Compared with type 26 fluororubber, tetrafluororubber has better acid and alkaline resistance. After soaking in 70℃ nitric acid (mass fraction 0.6) for 3 days, the appearance of the sample was unchanged, while the type 26 fluororubber was damaged. After soaking in the acid base (100℃×72 h), the volume change rates of tetrafluoro-rubber were 4.2%(sulfuric acid with mass fraction 0.96), 2L %(nitric acid with mass fraction 0.6) and 0.1%(sodium hydroxide solution with mass fraction o.5), respectively. The acid and alkaline resistance of tetrafluororubber is superior to that of type 23 fluororubber, which has the best acid and alkaline resistance. After soaking in nitric acid (mass fraction 0.98) at room temperature, the mass change rate of fluororubber is as follows. Domestic 2311 fluorinated rubber 9.7%(soaked for 24 h) and 25.3%(soaked for 144 h), American KEL-F5500 fluorinated rubber 10.7%(soaked for 24 h), domestic tetrafluoro-fluorinated rubber SinoflastP-2 0.6%(soaked for 168 h). After being immersed in sodium hydroxide solution (mass fraction is 0.5) for 168h at room temperature, the volume change rate of tetrafluor is as follows: SinoflastP-2 0.03%, JSRAflasl50 1.2%. In addition, the processability of 23 type fluorine rubber is poorer, difficult to extrusion, extrusion semi-finished product surface quality is poor, and four fluorine rubber extrusion speed is 23 c type 5 times of fluorine rubber, extrusion semi-finished good appearance, four fluorine rubber relative density is 1.55 c, below 23 type fluorine rubber (relative density is 1.85), so consider technology, performance and cost, 23 type fluorine rubber may be four fluorine rubber instead of c. Unique compression resistance to permanent deformation performance. Tetrafluororubber not only has excellent compressive permanent deformation performance at high temperature, but also does not decrease its deformation recovery performance even if compressed for a long time at high temperature, while other fluororubbers increase the compression permanent deformation with the extension of time. Tetrafluororubber unique compression resistance permanent deformation performance for its use in seals is very advantageous
