COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Lanzhou LS Petroleum Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd (LSPE ), a subsidiary of Lanzhou LS Group, one
of the largest oil drilling equipment provider in China, founded in 1953. It is the only one Chinese rig
manufacturer which keeps API qualification for 30 consecutive years and also the first company in
China to export drilling rig to foreign country.
On April 3, 2013, the total interest equity held by National Oilwell Varco in the joint venture was transferred to LS Group.During the period of joint venture with NOV from 2001 to 2013, the Company obtained a great support from National Oilwell in product research & development, quality control and manufacturing capacity.

Production Capability
The equipment it provided up to dated includeds rapid rig, ideal rig(158 sets) ,heli-frog rig(4 sets),Turkimanistan rig (15 sets) as well as over 600 mud pumps to National Oiwell Varco. Right now , It has developed 4000HP drilling rigs and has successfully passed technical assessment in China and meets 4000HP depth driling requirements.On Oct. 2014, as one of subsidiary of LS Group, LSPE moved to the new production Base, which covers an area of 2.58 million square meters,
with a total investment of 15 billion yuan.
LSPE has 28 functional departments, more than 1500 employees, including 150 more engineering and technical personnel, over 50 quality control personnel. LSPE has 5 large shops for maching, assebly, painting and test and inspection etc. and two painting production lines. It's Assembly & Test Yard has seven rigs assembled & tested at the same time.All in all, it's production area covers a total area of 133,381m2 and 52412 m2 of open area.

LSPE designs and manufacturing equipment stricly as per corresponding API certificates and customer's requirements.
To provide good quality products, LSPE pay high attention to operator training. Welding operators holds welder qualification certificate from ABS Welding Operation Councile and welding inspector holds certificates issued by American Welding Society. At the same time, operators are trained regulary. In 2019, Singapore OCS was invited to LSPE to give training for outsourced ex-equipment inspection. It bought laser tracing instrument from America to improve its quality. For the two 2000HP Tiland Drilling rig, British Lloyd's Register, Mr.Robert came to LSPE for third party inspection at our production site. And two BSP (Shell in Bruni) respresentives supervise our production as LSPE yard. For SIT test, we successully passed the SIT test within 27 hours, which made shell very satisfied with LSPE production quality.
